The School District and Teacher's Association met on Monday, May 22, 2017, with the State Mediator in a collaborative effort to resolve the current contract impasse. The next mediation session will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017.

The mediation process is a confidential and legal proceeding; and, the participants have signed a confidentiality agreement prohibiting the disclosure of all discussions during the mediation session. The confidentiality of mediation allows each of the participants to speak freely and openly with one another in an effort to craft a tentative agreement resolving the dispute. Another joint statement from both organizations will be issued after the next mediation session.
